Today’s topic is called “dreams” and sometimes music have something in common with it.
Some dreams are lost or reality, other want to be reached and some of them are better to forget. Nightmares for example. The point is, dreams can be encouraging, make you happy, thoughtful or sad and unfortunately they can hurt.
Did you ever wake up after a dream and had this weird feeling? Or when you set yourself new goals and you are enthusiastic and then the first disappointment hits you?
I will take you to a little journey where you eventually get some similar feelings and the power of music will help me. Some artists wrote songs which describe those feelings and how they managed their emotions.
Like Abba did in “I have a dream”. They mentioned that good things take time and there is always something positive in every bad thing. “When I know the time is right for me, I’ll cross the stream”, they sang.
Katy Perry’s song “teenage dreams” is little love story. Katy had a crush which she betrays with parts like “Now every February you’ll be my valentine” or “My heart stops, when I look at you”.
Also in the German hip-hop scene exist songs about dreams. Like Raf Camora’s song “Traum”, where he explains how he reached his dream and what remembers him of it.
There are a lot more artists and songs that can inspire you to reach your dreams or look forward after a failure.
Which melody touches you the most? Leave a comment. 🙂
Just listen to the emotions which are hidden in music.

I agree with you!🙏🏻
